Programmes

One pathway, four stages — from "good at maths" to "competing nationally"

Every programme maps directly onto the UKMT competition calendar, so students always know what they're training for and why.

Years 7–8 · Foundation

Foundations of Olympiad Thinking

For students who finish classwork early and want a real challenge. We build the problem-solving habits — pattern spotting, logical structure, careful proof — that the school curriculum doesn't have time for.

  • Weekly 75-minute live class (max 4 students)
  • Core topics: number theory basics, combinatorial thinking, geometry intuition, logic puzzles
  • Preparation for Junior Mathematical Challenge & Primary Maths Challenge follow-on
  • Weekly homework set with personalised written feedback
Years 8–10 · Squad

Junior & Intermediate Olympiad Squad

For students ready to sit — and do well in — UKMT Olympiad rounds. We move from "I can answer the question" to "I can construct and write a rigorous proof".

  • Weekly 90-minute live class + monthly problem-solving workshop
  • Core topics: number theory, combinatorics, Euclidean geometry, algebraic manipulation, proof-writing
  • Direct preparation for Junior/Intermediate Mathematical Olympiad & Challenge papers
  • Timed past-paper practice with full written markschemes
Years 10–13 · Elite

BMO & IMO Selection Track

Our most advanced track — for students aiming at British Mathematical Olympiad rounds 1 and 2, and ultimately UK IMO squad selection.

  • Weekly 2-hour live seminar in small cohorts (max 4 students)
  • Advanced topics: inequalities, functional equations, advanced geometry & number theory, combinatorial proof
  • Monthly mock olympiads under real timed conditions, individually marked
  • 1:1 strategy sessions ahead of BMO1/BMO2 and IMO selection rounds
Years 12–13 · University entrance

Oxford & Cambridge Maths Entrance Preparation

Specialist preparation for the admissions tests required for Maths and related degrees at Oxford and Cambridge — the MAT, STEP and TMUA — taught by coaches who have sat them.

  • Targeted training for the MAT (Oxford), STEP I/II/III (Cambridge) and TMUA
  • Weekly problem sets with full written solutions and individual marking
  • Exam technique and timing strategy for high-pressure admissions papers
  • Mock interviews and admissions-style problem solving with your coach
How a term works

Structured, predictable, and visible to parents at every step

1

Free assessment lesson

A relaxed 30-minute live session where a coach gauges your child's current level and recommends the right programme — no pressure, no obligation.

2

Weekly live classes + homework

Students attend live sessions, then receive homework through their student portal — with deadlines, hints, and full written feedback from their coach.

3

Progress reviews each half-term

Parents receive a written progress report and a short video update from the coach — what's improved, what to focus on next, and which competitions to target.
